    I did the following:
Installed roho_mini.exe and then copied the c:\Program files\rohos folder to a non privileged account in another computer.

I tried to run "agent.exe" and "rohos mini.exe" but did not work because require administrative privileges.

Then I ran RBrowser.exe and created a 600MB volume. When copying firefox portable to the volume received the message (files couldn´t be copied):

Then I tried to run the firefox portable and said:
Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition couldn't be started. Try to reinstall to fix this problem (ERROR: firefox.exe not found). Obviously, such file exists.

I don't know how to create a volume and run portable applications from there on unprivileged computers...

  2. Where did you downloaded Firefox ?
Monday I will try to do the same test.

Actually "Create Partition" function in rbrowser is experimental. We copied files by using virtual drive R (you can take a look on the video) and then run portable apps via rbrowser while testing.

However copy files should work without problems in rbrowser.

I downloaded it from portableapps, although has a lot of extensions installed, but whould be no problem. Try installing foxproxy just in case.

I don't use virtual drive R because does not work on unprivileged accounts (and where any rohos software, of course, is not installed).

The 600 MB file was created on a USB pendrive, and copied firefox portable via drag and drop.

Actually "New.." function in Rohos Disk Browser is rather experimental. it creates NTFS 1.3 volumes.

So I need to be admin even to create the volume... Rohos mini is not portable at all.

  6. azrael hold on for a while, we plan to make it totaly Portable.
Within a month we plan to release stable version that will be able to create NTFS and even make "Check for errors" scan of rohos encrypted container.

Scan For Errors is the most important part now for us. We are working under it now.

  7. Hi All,

Here is 1.7.4 version of Rohos Disk Browser.
    http://www.rohos.com/betta/rbrowser.zip

    Whats new:
+ "Repair" menu option with Disk Tools: Check Errors and Format.
    * Check Errors is not working for a while under Win Seven.
    * Format may not work for already created disks.
Please be aware that "Fix Errors" option actually fixes errors and writes data to the partition. But it may fail to check till the end for some reasons and therefore partition may be corrupted. It is under development yet. It is not recommended to use it now.

+ "New" menu option that allow to creatу new partition was re-implemented with Windows native code (disk formatting were virtualized from Windows).
+ Under "Partition Properties" dialog box there is "HEX" button that allows to see boot sector (0) of the encrypted partition in plain text.
    * When you double click on EXE file, entire folder gets virtualized and this EXE will be started.

  8. About FireFox,
The issue is fixed however sometimes FireFox doesnt start by double click.

    Solution:
Right-Click on empty space in files list -> Firtual Folder -> In opened Dialog Box navigate to folder FirefoxPortable and double click FirefoxPortable.exe. It should start.
