What is KidLogger?
Very simple, free and open source key-logger (keystroke logger) program.
Designed for home family users and to keep watch on kids (2-7 years) activity on the computer.
It can log all websites visited, chat rooms talks, started programs, opened documents and windows
viewed pictures and movies. It is also a simple and FREE key logger and
activity monitoring program for family needs.
Soon: Mac OS X support, Featured screen grabber, Skype and VoIP calls logging.
Features list:
- Keyboard logging and keystrokes recording.
- Chat recording and monitoring. It can capture all instant messengers chats,
online chats and forums typed by the kid or Guest on the keyboard.
- Email recording It will log every e-mail created on your computer. Should be congigured manually in snap.bat file.
- Monitoring USB flash drives and CD/DVD media activity. Removal / Insertion events. (PRO version only)
- Launch automatically at windows startup.
Kidlogger invisibly starts on Windows startup. You don't need to launch monitoring features
manually. All configurations is simple for your best convenience.

- Support monitoring multiple users
The keylogger will start monitoring only on selected user account. To select the user
you should log into his/her user account and run it.
The log entry for the user can be opened from Control Panel.

- Application monitoring and screen shoot capture.
Kidlogger record all applications ran and the text typed in these applications.
You will know the exact time, date, window caption of the programs launched on your computer.
Also every 15 minutes Kidlogger captures all display contents into a BMP file.
So you see what was realy on the monitor at the moment.
- Log files are separated by date. KidLogger creates a separate folder for each user account log files.
To browse for logs click "View log files..." button.
This logger present logs in a user-friendly manner - HTML files.
- Log files to by email.
You can receive log files and screen captures to your email every 15 minutes.
Ir works like remote keylogger. (* dont work with yahoo, msn emails)
- PC activity monitor. It can log computer hibernation\resumes, standby events and screensaver as well as opened windows, web-sessions. It can monitor your child online activity.
How it works ?
This programm provides a simple way of monitoring your Kid activity. It is designed
for first-time users.
- After installation setup wizard will open Control Panel.
At this moment KidLogger
is now monitoring currently logged user. If your Kid is using your's user account you may
close KidLogger Control Panel and left computer for Kid.
TIPs:
- KidLogger automatically will start next time on Windows startup in invisible mode.
You don't need to launch monitoring manually.
- To stop monitoring - Open "Control Panel" and press "Stop Logger" button.
- To open Control Panel - click Start -> Programs -> KidLogger -> Teslain KidLogger
How to see log files ?
Log files (contains all captured data) is separated by date.
KidLogger creates a separate folder for each user account logged files.
This logger present logs in a user-friendly manner - HTML files.
To browse for log file (your Kid yesterday's activity) :
- Open KidLogger Control Panel. click Start -> Programs -> KidLogger -> Teslain KidLogger.
- Click "View log files..." button.
This will open Folders Browser with "Teslain KidLogger" folder.
- In the File Browser (Explorer) select folder that names as user name (your Kid user account or your's).
- Browse the date needed and double click any HTML file.

Warning:
- Log files and screen captures may take up to 20MB your Hard Drive space.
How to ...
To disable screen captures:
- Click "View log files" button and then rename or delete "snap.bat" ("snap.bat" to "_snap.bat")
To Hide KidLogger presence:
- Disable logger (click "stop" in Control Panel )
- Delete entries in Start menu.
- Delete Registry Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teslain KidLogger_is1
- move folder "c:\program files\KidLogger" into another folder and run logger again.
This will prevent unauthorized removal\uninstall.

Important notice:
KidLogger does contain adware modules. This is a simple key logger
that does not protect himself from being deleted/uninstalled by another user.
KidLogger also do not protect log files from being viewed by someone else but you.
It is not using any Stealth technics to not being seen and invisible when pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del,
in System Tray or Uninstall List, or even during the startup or on the startup menu.

Sending recorded reports is easy then ever. Kidlogger supports all email account types (yahoo, gmail). For the user convenience it ispossibe to choose between sending log files or screen captures or both.
Safe and encrypted
It logs keystrokes and presents them as "real characters" (including foreign language characters) in an ASCII text file. The charachters are displayed as you typed them in an application. The log files are encrypted with a key that can be input by the user (AES 256 bit encryption).
This feature can be used as a input backup. Sometimes computer programs crashes or operator error happens, such as file or e-mail deletion, submited web page failure. In this case it's important to be able to find data you've typed, such as userid's, passwords filled web forms and emails.
Undetectable by AV's and Spyware removal tools
KidLogger Pro is not detected by AntiViruses and SpyWare tools because it's executable code is not published on the web. Each customer get it's own copy of it.

This is VisualC++ 6.0 project files. This is provided for educational purposes and
to proof that this key logger software do not contain any spyware-adware-trojans code.
Requirements to build KidLogger:
- Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0/NET or XCode (for Mac version)
Using this sources you can make up and build your own key-logger and plain capturer program.
The package also contain:
- report.exe - command line utility to send email.
- dsk_bmp4.exe (sshot.exe)- command line utility to make screen captures in JPG.
- snap.bat - BAT file that is called by key logger to make screen capture.
